Mushroom days 2026

Every three years, the global mushroom industry comes together in the Netherlands for Mushroom Days – a world-class showcase of the latest innovations, technologies and ideas. This year, AHR's Jenny Ekman was there, and over the coming issues she'll share some of the highlights from the event. First up: the exciting advances in robotics and automation that are transforming mushroom production.

The 37th Mushroom Days was held in late April in Brabanthallen in s-Hertenbosch, The Netherlands, once again drawing the global mushroom industry together under one roof.

What began in 1986 as a small local event helping Dutch mushroom growers share information has grown into a major global trade fair for all those involved with edible fungi. The recent event attracted 124 exhibitors from 21 countries. With nearly 5,000 (free) admissions over three days, this was certainly the place to be!
